[Travel] Majalengka |Nature’s Walk the Half of the 2nd Day

I fall in love with Majalengka already, especially the rice fields on the 1st day (even when it’s cloudy!) and watching the sunrise at Terasering Panyaweuyan Argapura. On our second day, we check out from our lodging, have some snacks on the way.

We visit Telaga Nilam, but it’s way crowded with stands around the lake. The water looks clear and good though. Entry ticket Rp. 15.000 (US$ 1).

Telaga Remis is nicer. And have lovely colors. We only spend a short time on both locations though since it’s starting to drizzle again.

Curug Cipeuteuy is also nice, but already too touristy. It’s like a park with many Instagram spots, take a swim or two and have a snack. The waterfall itself is very short and most of this is manmade.

The rain is not helping the chilly weather. I got some wedang uwuh (hot ginger drink)

Finally, we arrive at Ciboer Pass, a nice looking rice field, although I prefer the one yesterday. We spend the afternoon here, but the cloud is not letting up so we didn’t get to see the sunset here.

Dinner Nasi Uduk and Chicken

In the evening, we go back to Majalengka city center and have early dinner. And then, a long hour back to Jakarta. We arrive at Jakarta close to midnight. It’s a very satisfying weekend and I can’t wait to do it again.
